Paul Grey

Paul Gray (born April 8, 1972) is the bassist for the nine-piece metal/alternative metal band Slipknot. He is from Los Angeles, California and is half black. He often sings back up vocals for songs like "Spit it out" when Corey's voice becomes too hoarse.

Unlike the rest of the band which resides at Des Moines, Iowa, he lives in Los Angeles.

Unlike the other guitarists, he is indeed left handed and he is considered to be very skilled with his instrument. Paul is a rather underrated bassist due to his anonymous demeanor and the "pick" playing style he uses when performing with the band.

Earlier tracks such as 'Confessions' or 'Do Nothing/Bitchslap' are great showcases of his playing skill.

He uses a left handed Warwick Thumb Bass.
